WORLD DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR

Children are more vulnerable to the risk than adults.
It is clear that the continued preservation of child labour is an obstacle to the progress of education and development in general.
Governments are required, in consultation with the social partners, to establish and enforce a national list of hazardous work prohibited for children.
In the last 10 years, child labour may decline and school attendance increases. However, much has to be done to eliminate child labour as a whole.
