Climate changes rapidly as a result of human intervention.
Co-ordinated global co-operation is imminent and it is our duty especially for future generations.
The problems that arise are serious mainly because:
1) They endanger the living conditions of people on the planet
2) They are fatally leading to widening already huge disparities between States.

Under these circumstances, today’s day cannot have an anniversary character. On the contrary, it should be a day of reflection and awareness of our responsibilities.

It’s not easy to be a parent! Who did not feel it?
The risks we have to protect our children are many, the decisions we have to take for them at critical times are many, the right words we have to say sometimes, need to check what impact they will have on them.
Although we have more knowledge than our own parents, the role of today’s parents is complex.
Most parents are madly in love with our children since they were born. We never stop loving them whatever happens.
So do not forget to show your love to children in every way!

Although the percentage of non-smokers in Greece is encouraging, 78% of Greeks are exposed to passive smoking. The State is called upon to reconsider its tolerance for passive smoking for the sake of financial interests.
And do not forget… smoking is not only a harmful habit it is a disease.

New technologies cover an increasing part of both our professional and personal lives.
The modern man is trying to adapt to the new … that is constantly changing.
As new technologies penetrate everywhere, our daily lives are more easily coordinated with new technological requirements.
The Information Society is one of the most important priorities of the developed world.
But the point is to properly evaluate, manage and exploit the information we receive. The risks of social media, cyberbullying, internet dependence, cybercrime, are some of the issues that require particular attention.

The traditional large family has been replaced by the core family. Alternative forms of cohabitation have increased.
Poverty that affect our society also test the cohesion of the family. Forced migration, the growing dependence of older people for survival due to pension constraints and shrinking the welfare state create tensions and test relationships.
What matters is to remain united despite the possible distance and mutual respect among the members.
Family support is not an expense, it is an investment in the future of the country.
